ShawnT, excellent point, one of my students in youth group has questioned incest for a long time; I think or at least hope at this point that I have adequately answered his question. 1. There are details left out in the bible, such as that Adam and Eve had other “sons and daughters” but it is unclear as to when, or how many. As far as “incest” well these were the first humans their seed was more pure and we take it on faith that God had allowed this in order for creation to exist and expand. As the nations grew and expanded this practice was forbidden. Even if you are a total non believer the theory of Evolution would have an “incestual” history, you came from the same source, and either you materialized by accidental mixture or primordial soup or not, children are still born from their mothers’ womb. 2.) The Trinity- God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit.
Jesus, God the son is God, and was in the beginning with God. Gen. 1:26 “Let us make man in our image” God was speaking with the members of the trinity. 3.) The only physical form we could see of God would be Jesus, Immanuel, the incarnation of God- God in the flesh -Jesus. Jesus says if you have seen me then you have seen the father. The closest anyone in the bible got to see God the father and lived was Moses, and God spoke to him through a burning bush, and Moses still had to turn his back. We could not be in the ultimate presence of God we would die, but if we make the write decision to apply our faith in Jesus Christ we will have an eternity of peace with Christ Jesus. Hello,
Very interesting to hear what you think. Religion is a form of suppression, it does not tell you the truth of creation. I used to be Christian, untill the questions I had are not answered: Adam + Eve = Cane and Able….. Cane and Able had kids with who? ? Incest!!!
GOD=Trinity=Father, Son(Jesus), and the Holly Spirit? This makes up the Creator, GOD.? Ha…….. Where was the trinity before Jesus, and where is the trinity now? Is GOD not complete again?
I dont want to bash Christianity, it helps some people that dont want to think and research.
Anyhow, I am so diggin deep that I am interested in talking with you.

Just a thought;
Some moments in life we cant handle the huuman events! Do YOU (us humans) think that we could even handle seeing, or knowing everything about this”GOD”?

I do spend a considerable amout of time reading and learning from the Bible.

However how do you explain the fossils being found for Dinosaurs at 75 million years ago?

Care to note, the earth is less than 60,000 years old. God created the earth and heavens in six days. – Gen 1. “There was morning and there was evening.”

I don’t get: are you trying to say Hinduism is the oldest recorded religion or the Egyptian myth was the oldest known religion?

What’s up with God was worshipped as a bull? I thought the Israelites slaughtered bulls for the sacrifice offerings?
